Zion-Benton Leadership Academy

Established in 2012 with over 70 graduates, ZBLA was created to increase diversity in Zion-Benton leadership (age, gender, race, socio-economic status, etc), encourage and motivate individuals interested in becoming community leaders, address succession planning for leadership roles, increase community involvement in social and civic organizations, and make our community a place where people want to live, work and raise their families.  Apply at ZBLA.info

Kiwanis Club

Kiwanis Club of Zion-Benton meets Tuesday mornings at 7:30am at El Lago Restaurant, Zion, for breakfast, guest speakers and club meetings. “Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.  The name ‘Kiwanis’ means ‘we trade’ or ‘we share our talents.’  It was coined from an American Indian expression, Nunc Kee-wanis.”

Winthrop Harbor Lions Club

The Lions Club is a community service organization that provide services and programs at the local and international levels, including assisting those who are visually and hearing impaired and SO much more!  Meets the 4th Thursday of the month at Stone Creek Restaurant.  Email whlionsinquires@gmail.com.

Illinois Beach Sunrise Rotary Club

Illinois Beach Sunrise Rotary Club’s primary goal is to support and promote youth programs locally and nationally, as well as through international partnerships. Zion Woman’s Club

Zion Woman’s Club is an affiliate of General Federation of Women’s Clubs the largest group of women volunteers in the world. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, except January, September through May,  at noon in the Fellowship Hall of Grace Missionary Church 1415 - 27th Street, Zion, Illinois  (East Door).

Coalition for Healthy Communities

Coalition for Healthy Communities mission is to lead the community in a collaborative effort to impact health, wellness and social issues.  They meet the second Friday of the month at 7:30am at the Lake County Health Department, 1911 27th St., Zion. All welcome.
