ELS Classes in Zion

FREE ESL Classes offered through the Mundelein High School, Adult Education Department in Zion! Classes are held at Zion Township on Tuesday& Thursday’s from 8:30am-11am. As well as Tuesday and Thursday’s from 6-8:30pm at Zion Central Middle School. Walk-ins are always welcomed!

Christ Community Church

English as a second language (ESL) classes offered at Christ Community Church for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. Classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday’s from 9am – 11am. Registration is accepted year-round registration and free child care is available.

College of Lake County

Increase your confidence and ability to communicate with CLC’s English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. You’ll take a test that helps determine if you’re at a beginning, intermediate or advanced level. Then you’ll practice and perfect your speaking, listening, reading and writing in English.

Waukegan Public Library

Learn English by speaking it! In Conversational ESL, you’ll join other English language learners and volunteers to practice speaking. This program uses visual tools, small talk, and role play to teach native speakers of many languages to communicate in English, focusing on specific issues, like making a doctor’s appointment, placing an emergency call, parent/teacher conferences, and more. Classes offered Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in classroom AB on the main floor. Call 847-775-2547 or email to register.
